TOUR PLAN - Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Mumbai
Welcome to Colourful India. On arrival at Airport you will be received by our representative and assisted to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai
After breakfast visit Dhobi Ghat, Victoria terminus, Mumbai Municipal corporation Building, Forth market, Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Hotel, Colaba Causeway, Prince of Wales Museum, Marine drive, Hanging Garden, Mani Bhawan and drive past Tower of silence, Mumbai University, High Court building, Owl cricket ground & Rajabhai Clock Tower. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Mumabi – Aurangabad by Flight
After breakfast half day Mumbai slum tour.

This tour aims to break the negative stereotype associated with the slum. Home to nearly 1 million residents, Dharavi is a place that’s alive with small scale industry and the spirit of community. Later transfer to airport for flight to Aurangabad, arrival transfer to hotel for 02 nights stay.
Day 04: Aurangabad
After breakfast visit Ellora (Closed on Tuesday): It is also known as Elapura, well known for its monumental caves, Ellora is a World Heritage Site. Ellora represents the epitome of Indian rock-cut architecture. The 34 "caves" are actually structures excavated out of the vertical face of the Charanandri hills. Buddhist, Hindu and Jain rock-cut temples and viharas and mathas were built between the 5th century and 10th century. And visit Daultabad Fort and BIbi Ka Maqbara: Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal, in Agra, in loving memory of his wife Mumtaz. His son Aurangzeb, who overthrew him, built the Bibi-Ka-Maqbara as a mausoleum to his wife Rabia-ud-Durrani. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Aurangabad – Ajanta – Burhanpur drive (230 Km/ 6-7 hrs)
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Burhanpur, en-route visit Ajanta caves (Closed on Monday). Later continue drive to Burhanpur, check into hotel for 01 night stay.
Day 06: Burhanpur
After breakfast visit Jama Masjid, Sahi Qila, Dargah-e-Hakimi, Khundi Bhandara and Asirgarh Fort. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Burhanpur - Omkareshwar – Maheswar drive (170 Km/ 4 hrs)
Breakfast at hotel and drive to Maheswar via Omkareswar Temple visit. Later continue drive to Maheswar, check-in at hotel for 01 night stay. Afternoon visit Ahilya Fort. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Maheswar – Mandu – Maheswar
Today an excursion to Mandu, visit Jahaz Mahal, Rani Rupmati's Pavilion, Baz Bahadur’s Palace, Hoshang's Tomb, Hindola Mahal and Champa Baoli and Hammam. Overnight at hotel in Maheswar.
Day 09: Maheswar – Indore – Ujjain drive (160 Km/ 4 hrs)
Breakfast at hotel and drive to Ujjain, en-route Indore visit Rajwada Palace, Lal Baag Palace. Later continue drive to Ujjain, check into hotel for 01 night stay. Evening visit Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Ujjain – Bhopal drive (200 Km/ 4 hrs)
Morning drive towards Bhopal, on arrival check into hotel for 02 nights stay. Later visit Bhopal Bharat Museum, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Taj-UL-Masjid and Birla Temple. Ovenight at hotel.
Day 11: Bhopal – Sanchi – Bhimbetka – Bhopal
Day excursion to Sanchi and Bhimbetka. Sanchi is one of the popular pilgrimage destinations for Buddhists in India and The Bhimbetka rock shelters are an archaeological site of the Paleolithic, exhibiting the earliest traces of human life on the Indian Subcontinent, and thus the beginning of the Indian Stone Age. At least some of the shelters were inhabited by Homo erectus over 100,000 years ago. The name Bhimbetka is associated with Bhima a hero-deity of the epic Mahabharata. After exploring these two places we will return back to the hotel.
Day 12: Bhopal – Jhansi by Shatabdi Train at 15.15/ 18.32 & drive to Orchha (20 Km)
Day at free till you transferred to Bhopal railway station for train to Jhansi. Arrival transfer to hotel in Orchha.
Day 13: Orchha – Gwalior drive (130 Km/ 2.5)
After breakfast visit Fort Complex, Raj Mahal, Jehangir Mahal, Ram Raja Mandir & Chattris (Cenotaphs). Afternoon drive to Gwalior, check-in at hotel for 01 night stay. Leisure and overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Gwalior – Agra drive (120 Km/ 2.5 hrs)
Breakfast and visit Gwalior Fort, Sun Temple and Sas Bahu Temple. Later drive to Agra, check-in at hotel for 01 night. Afternoon visit Agra Fort and Taj by sunset. Taj Mahal - the most extravagant monument ever built for love Mumtaj Mahal by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1633. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Agra – Delhi drive (205 Km/ 3 hrs) using expressway & Flight to Onward Journey
After breakfast drive to Delhi, on arrival drop at IGI airport for flight back to home.
