TOUR PLAN - Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Delhi.
On arrival at Airport you will be received by representative of Taj Mahal Day Tours who would take you to your pre-booked hotel where you will get your travel related documents. Do check in formalities and stay for 2 Night in Delhi. This will mark the start of your Golden Triangle-Delhi, Agra tour.
Day 02: Delhi.
As this is private tour so sightseeing time customized according to your convenience.
Old Delhi. Proceed for tour of old Delhi including Chandni Chowk once famous Indian Market. Visit Jama Masjid which was built by Shah Jahan the mughal emperor between 1644 and 1656. It is one of biggest Mosque of India where around 25000 people together can offer prayer at a time. Also visit India Gate a war memorial (originally called the All India War Memorial). Drive past President house and Parliament House. Qutub Minar – which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Mehrauli. It is also known as Tower of victory. Construction of Qutab Minar was started in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak. Later on his successor Iltumish further three storeys. Humayun’s Tomb – This mausoleum was constructed in year 1570 by Mughal emperor Humayun’s wife Bega Begum. It was the first garden-tomb in India, which inspired several major architectural buildings constructed on later stage. Lotus Temple: (Closed on Monday) The Lotus Temple is located in east of Nehru Place and is last of 7 Bahai temples built around the world.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra drive (205 Km/ 3 hrs) using expressway.
After breakfast our driver takes you to Agra once the Capital City of India during Mughal time. Now known for UNESCO World Heritage sites that includes Taj Mahal, Fort of Agra and Fatehpur Sikri (Ghost city). On arrival at Agra, check into hotel for 01 night stay. Afternoon visit magnificent Agra Fort constructed by Mughal Emperor Akbar which is made of Sand Stone. Also visit Itmad – Ud – Daulah (Baby Taj) is a Mughal mausoleum. Overnight stay in Agra
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur drive (240 Km/ 6-7 hrs) via Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri.
Early morning visit Taj by sunrise. Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) - the most extravagant monument ever built for love Mumtaj Mahal by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1633. Back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Jaipur. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri (40 Km from Agra) (old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) visiting The Buland Darwaza / Palace of Jodha Bai / Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal.
Continue drive to Jaipur. Visit Abhaneri (95 Km from Jaipur): The small village of Abhaneri has one of India's deepest and largest step wells (also known as tank gardens). Step wells are unique to India. They were used as cool places of resort, as pools for ritual cleansing before a temple visit and as a water supply for dry weather. There is a temple adjoining the step well.
Later continue drive to Jaipur. On arrival our company representative would assist you to check in hotel for 02 nights stay. Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur.
After breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur followed by Elephant ride to the fort. Stop for photography at Jal Mahal, Palace of Winds better known as Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar (Observatory)
Later walled city tour by walk
Start point : from City Palace via Tripolia Gate (Entrance gate of Royal Family), covering the beautiful Jaipur city centre with daily routine colourful life and vibrating pink city, old Bazaars from spices to the exquisite Jaipur savior, visit Bangles street from the smell of tea spices with flower Incenses street. Ending at Ramchandra ji temple with sunset or beautiful city view. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur – Delhi drive (250 Km/ 5-6 hrs) & flight to Onward Journey.
After breakfast drive to Delhi, on arrival drop at IGI airport for flight back to onward journey. End of Golden Triangle-Delhi, Agra tour.
