Kaziranga National Park:
In the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment.
Note: This is for your information that elephant ride and jeep safari and forest entry are regulated and controlled by the forest dept. Govt. of Assam. As such we do not have any control for booking of elephant seats and entry by jeeps

TOUR PLAN - Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park (ASSAM)
Arrive Guwahati airport and transfer to Kaziranga (250 Kms / 5 hrs drives approx). Check in Hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 02: Kaziranga National Park (ASSAM)
We shall start early in the morning for an elephant safari in the park. Afternoon we go for a jeep safari to explore more inside the jungle. Evening at leisure and if time permits later visit the nearby villages and Tea gardens. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 03: Kaziranga – Shillong (ASSAM – MEGHALAYA)
After breakfast drive to Shillong (290 kms / 7 hrs drive approx). Check in at hotel en route Umiam Lake. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 04: Shillong – Cherrapunjee- Shillong (MEGHALAYA)
After breakfast you will be traveling to Cherrapunjee (60 kms/ 02 hrs approx one way) – the wettest place on the earth. En route visit the famous Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak - to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shillong city. At Cherrapunjee visit – Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah and Khrem Falls. Drive back to Shillong for overnight halt.
Note: Most of the waterfalls are active in monsoon season only.
Day 05: Shillong – Guwahati (MEGHALAYA- ASSAM)
After breakfast drive to Guwahati. Check in hotel later visit Kamakhya temple – it is situated at the top of the Nilachal Hill at about 800 feet above the sea level. The entire temple complex not only comprises of many other temples but also a whole set of people connected with them. Apart from the main Devi temple, it also comprises of some other major temples of Devi Kali, Tara, Bagala, Chinnamasta, Bhuvanesvari, Bhairavi and Dhumavati. (Timing 06:00 A.M to 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark)
If time permits Evening River Cruise on mighty Brahmaputra on Direct payment basis Overnight at Guwahati.
Day 06: Guwahati airport drop (MEGHALAYA – ASSAM)
After breakfast drive to Guwahati airport for onward journey.
