TOUR PLAN - Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Welcome to Colourful India. On arrival at Airport you will be received by our representative and assisted to your hotel. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast tour of Delhi visit Jama Masjid, Raj Gath, Humayun Tomb, India Gate & drive past Parliament house, President house and visit Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple (Closed on Monday). Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur drive (250 Km/ 5-6 hrs)
Leisurely breakfast at hotel and drive to Jaipur, On arrival our company representative would assist you to check in hotel for 02 nights stay. Day at free for on own and overnight at Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur
After breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur followed by Elephant ride to the fort. Stop for photography at Jal Mahal, Palace of Winds better known as Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar (Observatory).
Later walled city tour by walk
Start point : from City Palace via Tripolia Gate (Entrance gate of Royal Family), covering the beautiful Jaipur city centre with daily routine colourful life and vibrating pink city, old Bazaars from spices to the exquisite Jaipur savior, visit Bangles street from the smell of tea spices with flower Incenses street. Ending at Ramchandra ji temple with beautiful city view. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur – Agra drive (240 Km/ 5-6 hrs) via Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast you drive to Agra. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri (40 Km from Agra) (old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) visiting The Buland Darwaza / Palace of Jodha Bai / Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal. On arrival visit Agra Fort. Later check-in at hotel for 01 night stay. Leisure and overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Agra – Khajuraho by Train at 1100 / 1830 hrs
Taj visit by sunrise. Taj Mahal - the most extravagant monument ever built for love Mumtaj Mahal by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1633. Later back to hotel for breakfast and transfer to Agra cantt railway station for train to Khajuraho. Arrival transfer to hotel for 01 night stay.
Day 07: Khajuraho – Varanasi by flight
Morning after breakfast visit Khajuraho Temples.
Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples in India. The temples are famous for their erotic sculptures, as well as depiction of life in all its forms.
Later transfer to airport for flight to Varansi. Arrival transfer to hotel for 02 nights stay.
Day 08: Varanasi
Early morning enjoy the boat ride on river Ganges. Back to hotel for breakfast and tour of Ancient city ghats, temples & streets bazaars. Afternoon visit Sarnath: where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma and also where the original Sangha was formed. Consequently, it is one of the 4 main Buddhist pilgrimage destinations. Evening attend the prayer ceremony at the Ghats. Overnight at hotel.
Varanasi, also commonly known as Banaras and Kashi is a city situated on the banks of the River Ganges in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, regarded as holy by Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and probably the oldest of India.
Day 09: Varanasi – Delhi by flight
Breakfast at hotel and day free till you transferred to airport for flight to Delhi. Arrival transfer to hotel for 01 night stay.
Day 10: Delhi – Kathmandu by flight
Morning breakfast and transfer to IGI airport for flight to Kathmandu. Arrival transfer to hotel for 02 nights stay. Afternoon visit Pashupatinath Temple- the most sacred of the Hindu temples in Nepal dedicated to lord Shiva, built in 1696. Boudha Nath Temple- the world’s largest stupa; a sight of great reneration to the Buddhist. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Kathmandu
After breakfast sightseeing of Swayambhunath temple - Swayambhu- Swayambhu is said to be two thousand years old, making it one of the world's oldest and most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. Kathmandu durbar square. – the temple of the Living Goddess and the old Royal Palace. After lunch in local restaurant sightseeing tour of the Patan- A city of architecture and fine arts. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 12: Kathmandu – Pokhra drive (200 Km/ 6 hrs)
After Breakfast, check out from Hotel and drive to Pokhara. Enjoy a five-six hour beautiful drive to Pokhara. Arrive & check-In at Hotel. After check in go for boating in Phewa Lake (second largest lake in Nepal) for one hour boating. Evening free for personal activities/shopping on the lake side market on own. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 13 : Pokhara Sightseeing & drive to Kathmandu
Before breakfast drive and hike to Sarangkot - the popular hilltop offering the superb panoramic view of the Annapurna ,Machhapuchhre & Dhaulagiri Himalayas. It's a hike to places within the rim of the Pokhara valley and walks to the surroundings offer captivating glimpses of rural life. Back to Hotel. After breakfast sightseeing of Bindyabasini temple, Seti River, Devi’s Fall, Gupteshowre Mahadev (Cave). Afternoon drive to Kathmandu. Arrival transfer to hotel for 01 night stay.
Day 14: Kathmandu – Delhi – Onward Journey
After breakfast transfer to int'l airport for flight Delhi and further flight back to home
