TOUR PLAN - Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Mumbai
Welcome to Colourful India. On arrival at Airport you will be received by our representative and assisted to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Mumabi – Aurangabad by Morning Flight
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Aurangabad. Arrival transfer to hotel for 02 nights stay.
Later an excursion to Ajanta caves (Closed on Monday). The Buddhist caves of Ajanta predate those of Ellora, so if you want to see the caves in chronological order you should first visit Ajanta. Return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Aurangabad
After breakfast visit Ellora (Closed on Tuesday): It is also known as Elapura, well known for its monumental caves, Ellora is a World Heritage Site. Ellora represents the epitome of Indian rock-cut architecture. The 34 "caves" are actually structures excavated out of the vertical face of the Charanandri hills. Buddhist, Hindu and Jain rock-cut temples and viharas and mathas were built between the 5th century and 10th century. And visit BIbi Ka Maqbara: Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal, in Agra, in loving memory of his wife Mumtaz. His son Aurangzeb, who overthrew him, built the Bibi-Ka-Maqbara as a mausoleum to his wife Rabia-ud-Durrani. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Aurangabad – Mumbai – Udaipur by Flight
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Mumbai and further connecting flight to Udaipur. Arrival transfer to hotel for 02 nights stay.
Day 05: Udaipur
After breakfast visit City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal and Jagdish temple. And enjoy the boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Udaipur – Jaipur drive (400 Km / 7-8 hrs) via Chittor
Breakfast at hotel and drive to Jaipur, en-route visit Chittorgarh Fort. Later continue drive to Jaipur, on arrival check into hotel for 02 nights stay. Leisure and overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Jaipur
After breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur followed by Elephant ride to the fort. Stop for photography at Jal Mahal, Palace of Winds better known as Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar (Observatory).
Later walled city tour by walk
Start point : from City Palace via Tripolia Gate (Entrance gate of Royal Family), covering the beautiful Jaipur city centre with daily routine colourful life and vibrating pink city, old Bazaars from spices to the exquisite Jaipur savior, visit Bangles street from the smell of tea spices with flower Incenses street. Ending at Ramchandra ji temple with beautiful city view. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Jaipur – Agra drive (240 Km/ 6-7 hrs) via Abhaneri / Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast you drive to Agra, en-route visit Abhaneri (95 Km from Jaipur): The small village of Abhaneri has one of India's deepest and largest step wells (also known as tank gardens). Step wells are unique to India. They were used as cool places of resort, as pools for ritual cleansing before a temple visit and as a water supply for dry weather. There is a temple adjoining the step well.
And Fatehpur Sikri (40 Km from Agra) (old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) visiting The Buland Darwaza / Palace of Jodha Bai / Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal. On arrival at Agra check in hotel for 01 night stay. Relax and overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Agra – Varanasi by Overnight Train at 20.30 hrs
Early morning Taj visit by sunrise. Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) - the most extravagant monument ever built for love Mumtaj Mahal by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1633. Back to hotel for breakfast and afternoon visit Agra Fort, Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb (Baby Taj) & Mehtab Bagh (Back view of Taj). Late evening transfer to Agra Fort railway station for board overnight train to Varanasi.
Day 10: Varanasi arrival at 08.45 hrs
Upon arrival at Varanasi Jn railway station, you will be received by our representative and transfer to your hotel for 02 nights stay. Relaxing at hotel.
Afternoon visit Sarnath: where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma and also where the original Sangha was formed. Consequently, it is one of the 4 main Buddhist pilgrimage destinations. Evening attend the prayer ceremony at the Ghats. Overnight at hotel.
Varanasi, also commonly known as Banaras and Kashi is a city situated on the banks of the River Ganges in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, regarded as holy by Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and probably the oldest of India.
Day 11: Varanasi
Early morning enjoy the boat ride on river Ganges. Back to hotel for breakfast and tour of Ancient city ghats, temples & streets bazaars. Rest of day free for on own and overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Varanasi – Delhi – Onward Journey by flight
Breakfast at hotel and later transfer to airport for flight to Delhi and further flight back to home.
